FISHING Fishing is one of the most attractive sports on Vlasina lake. The first fish were put in spring 1953 with some 500.000 trouts from Ohrid lake (Salmo trutta (m) lacustris L). Along with the trouts, one can find brook trout (Barbus meridionalis petenyi Heckel) and white amur (Stenopheynfidon idella Val).  In addition to this, the lake got some carps and perch, mapels etc. Amurs that were put into the lake during eighties to eat the vegetation had come to enormous weights and became the symbols of the lake. The biggest one recorded was 34,12 kg heavy and was caught by Nikola Sandulović from Belgrade. |
