![]() SATELITE PICTURES![]() Vlasina lake is located on the bottom of wide plateau, surrounded by the mountains of Vardenik, Stresher and Cemernik, which gently descend to its coast. It is an artificial lake (the dam was built in 1949) and it is the biggest in Serbia, after Djerdap lake. ![]() It has 13 km in length, 3 km in width (spreads north to south). The area taken is 16km2 during the maximum level, with an average depth of 10,3 m, and at an altitude of 1.212 m. ![]() |
